Third graders promoted one of the school's biggest events, Bright Fit, in their play, which was written by teacher Allie Hyer. The songs were arranged by music teacher Cindy Beirne.

"Stay Tuned" is about two children who watch too much TV, play too many video games and eat too much junk food. Thanks to a special TV, they get to learn about how to be more healthy by exercising and eating good food. They learn these lessons with songs from some favorite TV shows such as "The Addams Family," "The Brady Bunch," "The Muppets," "SpongeBob Square Pants," and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." There was also a visit by "Okra," a take off from Oprah. She teased the audience about giving out gifts, but didn't actually have any.

In the end, the children begged their parents to take them to Bright Fit Night, which is April 17. All families are welcome to attend.
