Ronnie Dickson, whose left leg was amputated when he was 17, talked to fourth and fifth graders about setting goals and answered curious questions about his prosthetics that help him climb and run.
As part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance, families cleaned out their closets and brought in coats, hats, scarves and more to donate to the Maclellan Shelter for Families.
We are preparing for springtime with composting. PK students peeled and chopped brown bananas left over from lunch and put them in the compost bins.
