The gym, long a fixture in the Bright School experience, has a new look after more than 45 years. The renovated gym was dedicated as the Pamela Dee Blevins Gymnasium in memory of the mother of Lauren Wolfford '99 and grandmother of current third grader Rett.
The renovation was part of the Building a Bright Future Capital Campaign and made possible by the Schillhahn-Huskey Foundation. The renovation included new paint, flooring, lighting, bleachers, mechnically operated basketball goals and climbing wall.
Taking part in the ribbon cutting were the Wolfford family, Mrs. Watts, Mrs. Kropff, Mr. Morgan and P.E. coaches past and present: Bobby Gendimenico, Ashley Linehart, Kristen Curtis, Bob Cutrer and Jan Connell.
