Food, flags, singing, dancing, and more! Bright World Night is a celebration of cultures and countries represented by our Bright School families.

This event is held every other year and planned by the Parents' Association.

During the week, students learn about different countries. The dining hall served different foods, and parents volunteered to teach games in P.E. Students attended a morning assembly to learn from their classmates about different countries. Classmates wore traditional outfits and talked about their favorite holidays and foods.

On Bright World Night, families are invited to learn about and taste food from different countries. Families volunteer to have a table during the event. This year, we had demonstrations of calligraphy, henna, karate, bagpipes and dancing. The Bright School Choir sang two songs, and the advanced Spanish class sang a song. Students got a Bright World passport, had their passport photo taken and visited each booth to get a stamp. Completed books earned a ticket to put in a prize bucket.

The fifth graders had a table about South Sudan, and they are raising money to help build a well.
