Menorahs, dreidel and challah bread were some of the Jewish traditions students learned about leading up to Hanukkah.

Fifth grade students in Mrs. Hyer's class learned about lighting the menorah, and they had one to light each day. They played dreidel and learned about the Jewish holiday.

Fifth grader Harlan Soss talked to Mr. Bill's kindergarten class about Hanukkah. He read a book about Hanukkah to the students, and then explained the menorah and dreidel game. He baked braided challah bread and shared a piece with everyone in the class.
