Ways to Support Bright

Remember Amazon Smile this gift-giving season! When you order items on Amazon Smile, you may select Bright as the recipient of a percentage of the purchase.

Another way to support Bright is to shop at Publix. Swipe your green Publix key tag at the register. If you don't have a Bright School Publix tag, pick up one in the office.

Buy One, Bring One Canned Food Drive

Collection cans are set up in the main office, lobby and Early Childhood Center for your canned food donations to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. We encourage families and students to get in the habit of bringing canned goods with the practice of "buy one, bring one." Each time you buy a can at the store, buy another one for CAFB and bring it to school. Thank you!

Thanksgiving Program on Friday

Friday is the Thanksgiving Program. It begins at 10 a.m. This is a half day, and students dismiss at 11:30 a.m. Shuttles for the performance will begin running at 8:30 a.m. from Stuart Heights Baptist Church. The program is scheduled to last 45 minutes, so we kindly ask parents to arrive and stay for the entire performance. Our children and Mrs. Bowling have worked very hard! If you cannot attend, watch the program live on Facebook. Shuttles will run after the program to allow parents to return to their vehicles in time to pick up children in the dismissal car line. Students are required to wear white uniform shirts with navy bottoms: pants for boys and skirts/skorts, pants, or jumpers for girls.

Stay Late on Friday

Bright Afternoons will be available for students who need to stay after early dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Sign up by this Wednesday, November 15. Turn in this form to the office or email directly to Mary Bosshardt. Cost is $30 per child. A minimum of 10 children must be signed up for late care to be offered.

Book Fair

The Book Fair will be December 4-7 from 7:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day in the library. We also will be open Friday, December 8 from 7:15-noon. December 1 will be a parent, grandparent, and teacher preview day. We will have an amazing selection!

Students will go with their classes during an assigned time to shop during the week, and parents and grandparents are welcome and encouraged to join them. Students will be able to shop with a parent or grandparent before or after school, as well. More details coming soon!
