Class Description: Freeing Electrifying Joy is the core essence of this class. 
The goal is to foster the love of dance and help keep our bodies healthy in a positive and welcoming environment.  The students will learn age appropriate choreographies designed to enhance their fitness level. They will dance to rhythms from around the world but also current popular Disney soundtracks. The objective of the class being that student can identify rhythms and their origins and perform the matching choreography. 
No prior dance experience is required for this class.

Description: Club will aim to strengthen girls' physical and emotional health. Older girls will have the opportunity to help mentor younger ages in hopes to create unity and form relationships in our school!

Join our Introduction to Chess Class, where we offer captivating and age-appropriate chess lessons to engage students at all beginning skill levels. Our program covers the fundamentals, openings, and strategic thinking. We spice things up with variant chess games to maintain enthusiasm and playfulness. We work closely with your child throughout the class to help them internalize chess concepts and rules. Short Description: The Bright School Robotics Club is for 3rd-5th grade students who have a passion and affinity for designing and coding robots. This year's Robotics Club will use the VEX IQ system. VEX IQ is based on plastic, snap-together pieces specifically designed to build highly functional robots. This system doesn't require any prior knowledge of robotics. Students can easily build their first robot, and the wide variety of additional parts means that they can build anything they imagine as they continue to learn. During this 12-week class, students will participate in the VEX IQ Competition and Local League. In the VEX IQ Competition teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play with other teams in a game-based engineering challenge. Little Geniuses is a chess-song singing, laughing, chess-tourney, dancing, chess clock-slapping, zany chess video, puppet show introduction to chess and being the smart kid in class. Kids report Little Geniuses to be the favorite part of their week because kids love our developmentally-targeted, infectiously-fun thinking activities and find them compelling, exhilarating, and extremely gratifying.  Can preschoolers really learn chess? You bet they can! The Knight School Little Geniuses Chess Program is a preschool chess class with an ingenious curriculum designed to exactly target, stimulate, and delight the preschool mind. Our fun chess lessons of the week—“Think a Plan and Follow It,” “Cool Kids Lose Well,” “Friends Are Always There,” “Never, Ever Cheat,” I Must Never Give Up,” and another ten like those—are just what preschoolers need to hear and want to hear. These chess lessons for kids can last a lifetime. Our chess kids academy is absolutely unique in that it actually prioritizes learning chess third, after good sportsmanship, which is paramount, and fun, which is indispensable! But don’t worry, this counterintuitive philosophy actually provides the very best approach to genuinely becoming devastating at chess. True mastery of the chess board, like dance, soccer, and everything else, can take years and years of applied practice. Our safe and intensely exciting classroom environments are the perfect atmosphere to motivate kids to stay in chess long enough to get better and better at chess over time and ultimately become practically unbeatable. What we mean by that is that at a long weekend of state championship play, our veterans can lose some chess games, but at a weekend slumber party or an adult soiree, when they are challenged by a swaggering, overconfident adult, their attack is lightning-fast, hilariously destructive of their opponent, and literally in many instances breathtaking.
