Welcome to our headquarters for back to school information for 2026-27!
We are excited to welcome students back to school! Phase-in days are August 20 and 21. More information will be sent on July 24.
Phase-In Days
Students attend only on the assigned day during the first days of school. Phase-in day is a full day for students. JPK/PK students may be picked up at 1 p.m. or stay until 3 p.m. No early care or aftercare will be offered during phase-in days.
Students in grades PK-5 wear their uniforms. Parents will park and walk to the classrooms with their children that day for a meet and greet between 8-8:30 a.m.
If your child needs a rest mat, we will have them for sale in the concourse area during both phase-in mornings.
The Parents' Association will be available on the concourse for questions, signups, etc.
For new families: We'd like to invite all new families to the Peeples Pavilion at 8:30 a.m. on your phase-in day for coffee and a brief program to learn about the fundamentals of Bright School. The elementary school years are a time of great wonder and change and we want to make your family's transition to Bright as easy as possible.
Required Forms
An up-to-date health form is required for ALL students! Parents will receive information in late June.
Start planning now for immunizations and required health forms: By Tennessee State law, a child may not start in our program unless a TENNESSEE immunization form is received and on file before the start date. Next year, ALL NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS will be required to submit an updated Tennessee immunization record. Click here for more information.
Send us your photos!
Students will receive a letter in August from their new teacher. We'd love to see photos of your students opening their letters so that we can share them on our school Instagram account! Please email pictures to Deanna Luna, director of communications and marketing, at dluna@brightschool.com.

We'd like to celebrate the start of the school year and welcome new parents into our Bright community! This is an adults only event and will be held on campus to kick off the year!
This year's theme is Boots & Bandanas. The vibe is western cowboy rodeo! Attendees are encouraged to wear attire in theme (think denim, bandanas, fringe and western attire). We will have a cover band, games, drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres!
