Happy New Year! Sending Love and Hugs! You're one tough cookie! Those are some of the sentiments expressed in greetings cards kindergarten and fifth grade buddies made together to send to patients at Children's Hospital.
The fifth graders went to the kindergarten classrooms to help their buddies write and design cards to send to children in the hospital.
In the classrooms, students talked about what would be nice things to say to someone in the hospital. "Days filled with sunshine and love," "I think you're really brave," "We are thinking about you," and "You are the light that is shining," were some other messages on cards the students created together.
