Observation is an important activity in science. Fourth graders used pill bugs in Mrs. Nestler's class to practice their observation skills.

Even though the pill bugs were eager to check out their surroundings and crawl all over the place, students were tasked with measuring the length of their bug, take note of the color and count how many legs they had. Pill bugs that made it through these activities were eventually returned to a safe terrarium.
