Valentines to the rescue! Music teacher Cindy Beirne learned from a friend that residents at a nursing home were having to isolate in their rooms over Valentine's Day and asked if anyone could make cards to cheer up the residents. Students in kindergarten, second, third, fourth and fifth grades jumped into action and made cards that Mrs. Beirne will deliver to the nursing home. The nursing home has 53 residents, and students made 131 cards.
