Fifth grade science ends the year with a literal bang! Students built rockets with plastic soda bottles and varied the water and pressure inside to test their rockets.

It's always a fun spectacle, and students from other grades come to watch and help count down each launch. You never know where a rocket might land. One ended up in the woods, and Mrs. Hughes climbed the fence to get it. Another landed on the roof, and another hit the side of the building. One rockets shot backward, and a first grader caught it. No one was injured, and everyone had fun!
