Fourth grade's study of Tennessee culminated with the annual Tennessee Celebration on Friday. Clad in Tennessee shirts (some orange, some not), the students spent the morning rotating between three activities. They created pumpkin drawings in art, went on a QR code scavenger hunt to learn more facts about the state and clapped and danced to good old-time music from a visiting band that played banjos, guitars and fiddles. At lunch, they enjoyed more country music sounds by Bright alum Lew Card '90. Students traveled to Nashville on Thursday to visit the capital and Frist Center.
