Eighth graders from Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy brought toys they made to Bright to get feedback and see how children interact with them. The students made various kinds of games and toys, such as a dollhouse, as part of research projects related to early childhood development. They presented the toys to kindergarten and first grade classrooms and then let the Bright students play with them.

Another group of eighth graders brought robots to fifth grade and taught the fifth graders how to code and program the robots. Then all the robots in each classroom battled to see who was the best.
