Happy voices, smiling faces and skipping feet filled the halls and classrooms for the first time since March when Bright Prep and Bright Care opened last week. Bright School is offering these programs for current students at no cost to parents during July.

Bright Prep is for rising first through sixth grades, and Bright Care is for rising PK through kindergarten. These classes are taught by our teachers.

Bright Prep will boost the readiness of those students who may be struggling most with distance learning – and for whom support may be necessary to be well prepared for the next grade. The purpose of Bright Prep is to offer our current students opportunities to recharge their academics, renew their friendships and learning communities, and refocus their love for Bright School during the summer. Each grade level will support summer reading, writing, math, and social-emotional skills through a fun, project-based learning approach.

The purpose of Bright Care is to offer our current families a positive day-care experience to help our younger students transition back on campus over the summer. Bright Care gives our younger students time to renew their friendships and refocus their love for Bright School.

We are practicing physical distancing where possible and practical and age-appropriate. Students wear face coverings when exiting the vehicle in the morning, walking through the hallways, and at dismissal time. All adults are required by the directive from the Hamilton County Health Officer to wear face coverings indoors.
