The Bright School has several classes called special areas. These are art, shop, Spanish, science, technology, P.E. and music. At times, these classes combine to show how they are connected.

Movement and music are natural combinations. Dance helps build hand-eye coordination, rhythm, balance and strength.

Music in P.E. Day is a chance for students to move and dance to music. Our music teacher, Mrs. Bowling, who is expecting a baby in January, was assisted this year by Director of Admissions Brooke Moore and Isabella Moore '18.

Students learned moves to several kinds of dances including an African dance, ballet, the bop, and modern dance. At the end of each class, they got to dance freestyle, which usually incorporates a lot of strange movements on the floor in attempts to breakdance.
