The oldest students in the school playing volleyball with the faculty has been a longstranding tradition dating to the 1970s. Changes have been made over the years. For instance, sixth graders used to play against the faculty. Now fifth graders and faculty are on the same teams, and the eight teams rotate playing. Three games are played at one time in the gym.

Fifth graders enjoy coming up with team names and costumes. The students make banners and run through them at the beginning of the game to set the tone of excitement for the rest of the school.

The volleyball game this year fell on the helf day of parent-teacher conferences. It's a fun time for everyone.
