Math Enrichment

What Is Morning Math?

Morning Math is a math enrichment program offered each trimester by the Kilbride Enrichment Center. Students in grades 1-5 are invited to participate. Each Morning Math session lasts for six weeks and is held on Wednesday mornings before school begins. Students meet in the museum in the KEC at 7:25 a.m. Students are assigned to a parent volunteer based on their grade levels. Each grade level group will go to a designated area in the school from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. with their instructor. Math problems are appropriately aligned with grade levels and are intended to be solved collaboratively among the student group to encourage critical thinking and practice problem-solving skills.
