Digital Photography Basics
current grades 3-5
minimum number of participants 6 and maximum 12.
All equipment is provided.
Cost is $200
Description: Introduction to digital photography (DSLR cameras). ALL CAMERAS AND EQUIPMENT PROVIDED! Campers will spend the first part of the week in the studio learning all about exposure and camera basics, rules of composition, motion, lighting, focus, and perspective. Campers will work on specific projects, both individually and in groups. We will also discuss how DSLR and smartphones have their own benefits and drawbacks. The highlight of our week is the last hour of camp where the campers host an open gallery where their best images are on display for each other, and kids will even come home with a portfolio of their hard work. Family and friends are invited to attend the open gallery event and celebrate the incredible achievements of each camper.

AI for Kids
current grades 3-5
May 30-June 2
Cost: $200
Do you have a kid who is creative or interested in technology?  Have you ever wanted to know about or how to use AI? Well, you're in luck, because this is the camp for you!  We're now in a world where even very young students can use free-online AI tools to generate stories, music, television or games.  In this new world, kids can cultivate their own creativity at young ages by doing projects like creating AI age symphonies, working with partners and AI to create animated books, and generating AI animations.  Along the way, they'll gain access to a suite of tools that can help with homework in the future, build familiarity with the new AI world we're moving into, and -importantly- understand when and when not to use this powerful new tool.

Weird Nature Science
current JPK/PK
Cost: $200
Have you ever wanted to be a scientist? Or to increase your understanding of the natural world?  Well, you're in luck!  In this class, we'll be learning about physics and the natural world through fun, easy science experiments that you can take home. We'll learn about states of matter through building volcanoes; we'll learn about sound through creating 'naturally occuring' speakers.  Along the way, we'll be taking our experiments outside in order to improve the environment at our school by making bird feeders.  It's the perfect camp if you love science, nature, engineering, or just making things blow up.

Soccer Shots
Current JPK-PK-Classic Group
Current K-2-Premier Group
Soccer Shots Camps provide children with an opportunity to develop their soccer skills, their character, and their creativity. Centered around a theme, children are provided with fun activities that include soccer games as well as a variety of other age appropriate options such as crafts, team building exercises, snack time, or even literature. Children will be encouraged to participate in daily themes, and each camp will conclude with a celebration of the children’s hard work. The Classic and Premier Camps, though aligned with skills and character words, differ in their offerings and are designed to meet the appropriate age of the groups.
