Strategic Plan

Our Process

In the fall of 2024, The Bright School partnered with EXPLO Elevate to launch a strategic planning process. This effort began with a thorough discovery phase, where EXPLO Elevate facilitators gathered information with a broad cross-section of our community, including parents, faculty, staff, and trustees, through listening sessions and surveys. These conversations were designed to capture a full spectrum of perspectives about the school’s strengths, opportunities and aspirations for the future.

Using this feedback, EXPLO Elevate and school leadership worked together to identify emerging themes and prioritize goals. Data from surveys and group discussions were synthesized into draft priorities, which were then refined through additional feedback rounds to ensure alignment with our mission and values.

Strategic Initiatives

With these non-negotiables at the forefront, the previously mentioned committee of faculty and administrators are working to create five additional strategic priorities.

These priorities were approved by the Board of Trustees at their April 2025 meeting. The faculty and staff are currently developing tactics to implement these priorities within the next five years.
