Bright Hosts Alumni Lunch
Alumni look at the old class photos to find their classmates.

Alumni were treated to Bright School lunch on Thursday, September 26.

Alumni were invited back to the campus for the traditional lunch of ground beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll – topped off with a slice of green and white Bright School cake. Guests were greeted at the door by members of the C.A.R.E.S. Council. Council members also helped with serving drinks and cake.

The C.A.R.E.S. Council is made up of a group of fourth and fifth graders who embody the values of Bright and serve as student leaders in the school. Before the lunch, several council members wrote notes to alumni and decorated blocks with special words representing their favorite thing about the school.

During the lunch, alumni were able to write notes to current students about their time at Bright and many of the alumni took advantage of the student-led tours after the lunch. Popular stops on the tour included visiting the woodshop classroom, finding their old photos on the alumni wall and taking a ride down the library slide!
