Santa traditionally visits Bright School on the last day before we leave for Christmas break. This year, Santa arrived in a convertible as everyone sang "Must Be Santa."

Students waved to Santa, and he rang the sleigh bells that belonged to school founder Mary G. Bright. He stepped out of the car as faux snow blew around the driveway.

Santa met with JPK and PK in the library as Mrs. Watts, dressed as an elf, read "Twas the Night Before Christmas." All received a candy cane.

Then Santa posed for photos with kindergarten and fifth grade buddies in the Centennial Theater. Santa gives kindergarteners an ornament, and fifth graders get candy canes.

Christmas break is December 19 through January 2. Faculty in-service is January 3. Classes resume on January 4.
