The Bright School electric car built for the 2020 Chattanooga Green Prix came out of storage over the weekend for the Motor Car Festival.
The Class of 2020 and science teacher Melanie Nestler built this electric car for the Green Spaces Chattanooga Green Prix that was supposed to be held in spring 2020 but did not happen because of the COVID-19 shutdown.
Well, building an electric car is a big deal, and so our car was displayed this weekend at the Motor Car Festival.
Katherine Pipes '20, who did most of the artwork on the car, attended the festival, and several current and former students visited the display.
