The fourth grade performed "The Scrambled States of America" in December. The play was adapted from the book by Laurie Keller and game of the same name.

The fourth grade state project has been a tradition at The Bright School for many years. Usually, the fourth grade play is related to the holidays since it happens in December. But the teachers said: "This year, with 51 students, it was impossible not to take advantage of the opportunity to incorporate the study of the students' states into our fourth grade play project as well." The states are assigned to students randomly, and usually Tennessee and Washington, D.C., are not included.

The audience enjoyed the many jokes, songs and one-liners that you might come to expect in certain states.
