Bright School Picnic 2008

The Bright School Picnic will be Friday, May 23 at the Cross Creek Farm in Ringgold , GA.   The fun and cheering will begin at 9:00 a.m. , and the races get underway at 9:30 .  Everyone will be there:  our cafeteria and custodial staff with the traditional picnic fare, the faculty and staff at the start and finish lines, handing out prizes, and doing ice-cream and coke duty, even Nurse Hilda will be there for any first aid needs that may arise.  Around 12:30-1:00 the crowd will move to the ball field to cheer the 5^th graders in their annual softball game.  There will be no extended care at school that day.

Primary supervision of children will be the responsibility of the parents.  Teachers are assigned to different activities throughout the day.  Children may not be left at the picnic without an adult.

In case of rain, students and faculty should report to school for a normal school day.  This would be announced via the radio, B-mail, and the school telephone.  The rain date for the picnic is Tuesday, May 27.

The cost for families is $8.00 per student.  5^th graders are guests of the school (All parents are also free).  Please send the $8 per child to the school office (Ms. Janie) by May 16^th.
