Get Ready for the Bright Bonanza!

Mark your calendars!  Bright Bonanza is Saturday, October 23rd from 11am – 3pm.  Your Bonanza Committee has been busy planning since early summer and we’re looking forward to a great event!

As many of you know, Bonanza is a fun-filled day for our Bright School families.  We can assure you that many of your favorite booths will be back, but we are also excited to share some new ones with you!  Be on the lookout for Jazzy Jars, Dippin’ Dots, our 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off Contest and much, much more.

In addition, we’re thrilled to introduce a new community service side to Bonanza.  We’ve named the week prior to Bonanza our Brighten Our Community week, where we will dedicate each day to a local organization (Food Bank, Chattanooga Community Kitchen, and Children’s Home/Chambliss Shelter to name a few).  We will also have these organizations and others present at Bonanza.  Our goal is to inform our students and families of the many ways they can get involved in our community…no matter what age!  Please go to the Bonanza Community Service page on Bright’s website to learn more.

Finally, we want to thank you in advance for your support with Bonanza.  As you know, Bonanza not a school fund-raiser.  It is a purely a day of family fun sponsored by the Parents Association.  This means we depend on YOU to make it a success.  Whether it’s bringing a cake for the cakewalk, making jazzy jars, entering your best chili recipe, or working your class booth, we ask that you please get involved.

Together we can make Bonanza 2010 BRIGHT!!
