All About Morning Math

MORNING MATH

Offered to students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING SIGN-UP SHEETS FOR SESSION 2. 

Morning Math will make the KEC a happening place from 7:30-8:00 AM on eight special Wednesdays during Fall and Winter, 2008-2009!  Small groups of collaborative mathematicians  (YOU) will discover how much fun problem-solving can be!

We will learn to use strategies such as:

                                                   Guess, Test, & Revise

                                                   Drawing a Picture

                                                   Pictures, Tables, Diagrams, and Graphs

                                                   Working Backwards

We will explore problems from the six strands of math; geometry, probability and statistics, logic, patterms amd functions, number sense, and measurement.

Morning Math will be offered from 7:30-8:00 AM during two, eight week sessions this year.   Students may participate in one or both of the sessions.
