Bright School At A Glance

Founded in 1913, Bright School is Tennessee's oldest, independent elementary school, enrolling 354 boys and girls in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. Bright School is dedicated to the academic, artistic, and physical development of each student and emphasizes citizenship, the joy of learning, and self-confidence within a happy, welcoming environment. An advanced curriculum encourages children to think critically and reason logically and provides opportunities for creative growth in music, visual art, intramurals, Spanish, computers, and manual art (wood shop). After school activities include dance, intramurals and handbells.
