Where can you treat your 3 or 4 year old to their first summer camp adventure? At the Bright School, of course! Bright School Summer Camp allows young children to thrive in a supportive, creative environment. Designed with the young child in mind, the program encourages campers to experience new activities and master new skills. Hands-on sessions with professional instructors immerse early learners in science, song, math, literature and more! Our mission is for our campers to return home at the end of the day not only with a sense of accomplishment but also brimming with songs, stories and “Bright” smiles.
The cost for a one-week session is $185. Classes meet from 9 a.m. until noon. In addition, before and after camp care (7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m., and noon until 6 p.m.) is available for $75 per week, and includes lunch.
Children must be 3 years old before December 1, 2007, to enroll.

June 9-13
Artfully Done PreK (3 & 4)
Instructor: Jennifer Livaudias-Barnes
Do you have a little artist at home that needs an artistic outlet? Children love to express themselves through art. Come and experience all the different art mediums. Have fun drawing, painting, print making, sculpting and releasing creative energy. Save the walls at home and watch your child enjoy an all new art experience.
June 16-20
Discover the Outdoors PreK (3 & 4)
Instructor: Susan Theele
Does your child love nature? Outdoor games, nature hikes, treasure hunts, and searching for unique leaves and animals will be fun! Outdoor activities teach group play. Child-centered nature walks and discoveries will delight every child.
June 23-27
Circus Adventure PreK (3 & 4)
Instructor: Jennifer Livaudais-Barnes
Ladies & Gentlemen! Our classroom will be turned into a kaliedoscope of colors, numbers, letters and shapes. We will learn about animals that perform in the circus. The week finale will be “Circus Day” where your child can come dressed has their favorite circus animal or performer. So step right up and join the fun!
July 7-11
Color Creations PreK (3 & 4)
Instructor: Susan Theele
Colors will guide us along our journey of discovering the many colors of the color wheel! We will be having fun with our color games, crafts, art, and even colorful snacks. Your child is sure to enjoy learning and playing with the many colors they will discover at the Color Creations campsite.
July 14-18
Dinosaur Stomp Pre-K (3 & 4)
Instructor: Kathi Wagner
Digging up dinosaurs, making fossils, dancing the Dinosaur Stomp, learning new songs and finger plays are just a few of the fun-filled activities your child will experience during our dazzling dinosaur days. It’s guaranteed to be “dino-mite”!
July 28 - August 1
Underwater Adventure Pre-K (3 & 4)
Instructor: Jill Wilburn
Does your child know about all the amazing things that come from the sea? We will learn all about our amazing oceans. Games, crafts, dress-up and even delicious deep-sea snacks will add to the fun. Come along on an exciting underwater adventure!
$185 Per Week
before and after camp care available (7:30-9 a.m.& 12-6 p.m) for an additional $75 per week]
