Meet the Teacher

Ann's teaching experience includes working with children and music in church, and has previously taught at Baylor, Chattanooga Christian and Highland Plaza Preschool. Kirk Walker, now headmaster at The McCallie School, encouraged Ann to apply for a position in music at Bright School. She loves to sing and participates in different choral groups. She has sung with the Glenn Draper Singers at the National Cathedral and the White House in December of 2005 & 2006. She also had the privilege of singing at the White House in 2007.

Ann and husband, Lynn, have three grown children who are graduates of Bright School. Michele and Kevin are registered nurses.  Michele is currently pursuing a Nurse Practitioner degree at UTC and Tracy is a student at UTC majoring in graphic design.
