Where can you find a Roman soldier's helmet, a wooden replica of a Viking ship, a Japanese ceremonial doll, priceless antiques, beautiful art and a 15,000+ volume collection of books?  In the Bright School library, of course!

The library is multifaceted it is part museum, part art gallery, part extensive collection of books and part state-of-the-art technology.  From the breathtaking to the unusual, Bright School's library has no shortage of treasures.

It is an engaging place for children, in addition to being a repository for irreplaceable Bright School artifacts and memorabilia from our more than 90 years of history.

The library is fully-automated with up-to-date technology including resources such as reference software, an on-line catalog, Internet access, web based subscription/periodical databases which enhance our students' research skills. The on-line catalog, Web Safari, is accessible with only a click. The program allows students, parents and teachers to reserve books, check accounts and more.

Whether for reference, a school project or selecting a book for pleasure reading, the library is easily accessible with the open-door policy for students, teachers and parents.

We want our children to be lifelong learners, and having access to a collection that greatly exceeds the national standard of elementary school libraries is one way we assist them on their journey.

The library is open each school day from 7:45 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
