The 2010-2011 school year is off to an exciting start in the Bright School Science Lab! Mr. Hill and Mrs. McMillan will be combining forces to lead the children on an amazing adventure exploring the fascinating world of science. Science will now be part of every Bright School child’s academic experience. Mr. Hill will be exploring science with the children in Bright Start through first grade. Second grade will have both Mr. Hill and Mrs. McMillan as their science guides. Mrs. McMillan will continue to work with the students in grades three through five.
Bright school science is an inquiry-based, hands-on program that allows the children to discover, observe, investigate and analyze information. Uncovering and discovering new ideas through nature and the study of science will raise awareness about the natural world for the students and in turn encourage them to be committed to protecting the environment.
