Welcome to Second Grade

We love your children and we want only the best for them during the precious moments we have them in our care.  We appreciate the support you give us through homework and follow through.  This is a TEAM effort.  It takes all of us to help them to grow to be the very best they can be.

•Please be sure to stop by the office before proceeding to our class. It is for the protection of our children to know who is in our hallways and why.

•If you need to speak with us, email us at any time here at school and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

•Vacations are wonderful, however, they should be planned according to the school calendar for the best interest of your child. When they are out and school continues on, they come back feeling very uncomfortable about what they have missed and often, they have missed a lot.

•Please have your child at school by 7:55 a.m. Our day begins by turning in homework, completing a Language activity on their desk as soon as they arrive, participating in a math message on the board, sharpening pencils and getting ready for our busy day.

•Book orders will go out periodically through Scholastic. Points earned through the sales go to purchase more books for the children to enjoy in our classroom. Please have them back by Friday of the week they are sent.
