Library Check Out Information for Kindergarten
The kindergartners come to the library every 6thschool day at which time they learn about books, their authors and illustrators, and hear some old and new stories. They begin checking out books the week of August 23rd.
Kindergarten children are allowed to take out two books at a time and keep them until the next scheduled library time. If they finish them sooner, they may return them and exchange them for other books. If they forget a book, they may put books on the ‘hold’ shelf which remain there for one day. We want to make library time a pleasant experience for your child in order to have them begin the lifelong habit of choosing, reading and enjoying books.
The world of the little child is very busy. Sometimes they forget to return their library books. Please give them a special place at home to keep their library books and help them remember when their books are due.
Thank you for your assistance. If you have questions or comments, please feel free to call the library (305-6465).
