We are grateful to the generous donors in our Building a Bright Future Capital Campaign, and especially the Card/Berube Family for their support of their alma mater and music.
The music room, now located between the concourse and llbrary, was updated as part of the recent $4 million campaign, which included three phases of renovation that were completed last summer.
Three generations of the Card family have been educated at Bright. Attending the dedication of the music room were Blaire Wynne '28, Starr Card, Nate Card '93, Max Berube '13, Sissy Berube '88. Josie Card '22, Kate Berube '16, Lew Card '90, Charlie Card '26 and Laura Card. The gift includes Lewie '65 and Becky Card.
Head of School Kristin Watts said the school appreciates the generosity of the family and their love for Bright School. Maria Matthews '69, representing the Board of Trustees, spoke on behalf of the Generosity Trust.
Blaire's kindergarten class and Charlie's second grade class attended the ceremony in the music room and enjoyed a breakfast celebration afterward.
