Ronnie Dickson, whose left leg was amputated when he was 17, talked to fourth and fifth graders about setting goals and answered curious questions about his prosthetics that help him climb and run.

Dickson is the husband of fourth grade teacher Amanda Dickson. He is a champion climber in national and international competitions and also makes prosthetics for amputees.

Students were interested in his climbing, how he wears the prosthetic and how it moves. They wanted to see how quickly he could tranverse the new climbing wall in the gym with his climbing prosthetic, and he showed them how his running prosthetic worked.
