Fourth graders in Math Academy created their own food truck concepts and practiced their math skills by taking food orders and making change with customers.
Mrs. Angel's class worked in groups and came up with their own ideas for the food truck names, design and menu. They assigned prices for each food item. Using fake paper money, they trucked into the main lobby and sold their wares to school staff. There was a delicious meal from Rocco's Rocky Road, yummy treats from Breakfast BINGO, tasty choices from Tropical Treats and filling meals from Burger Beyond.
