Kindergarten students sang and acted in "Good Day, Sunshine" about growing a garden and nurturing children. The play was written by teacher Bill Greene and directed by Karen Smith.

Parent volunteers created the set and costumes. Lights and sound was directed by Ray Park.

Characters included gardeners, the painter Bob Ross and a cameo by eco-literacy instructor Lynn Shelton '87.

Each grade (K-5) presents a play each year, and all students in the grade participate. Plays are a longstanding tradition dating to the early years of the school when Miss Bright thought it was a great way for students to learn to speak in public and gain confidence.
