Each grade has completed a community service project this year, and the first graders made "a piece of my heart" artwork to give to residents at Brookdale Assisted Living.
The students visited them and sang songs from their play. The residents seemed to really enjoy the interaction with the students, and the students were not shy and talked with the residents like they were grandparents.
