In their play "Making the Grade," fifth graders reflect on their time at Bright School, highlighting memories from each grade in a format like America's Got Talent.
The play theme was a competition between the memories of each grade, summarized in popular songs that are judged by Mrs. Reasor, Mr. Morgan and Simon Cowell. Each student had a role, and they auditioned for some of the parts. Fifth grade teacher Allie Hyer wrote the play and the song lyrics based on favorite moments from each grade that students submitted.
In the end, they decided there was not one single winner, but all the grades were the best.
