We celebrated Pi Day on March 14 (3.14) with the annual contest to memorize and recite the most digits of Pi, and the whole school made a chain of the first 349 digits.

The winners of the contest were

Kindergarten: Starling Anderson with 31 digits

First Grade: Roger Caputo with 122 digits

Second Grade: Adam Rifai with 88 digits

Third Grade: Ryan Mahone with 80 digits

Fourth Grade: Zoan von Schultz with 126 digits

Fifth Grade: Riya Sekhar with 198 digits (overall school winner)

We all celebrated Pi Day with apple pie at lunch.
